Darjeeling Castleton Estate SFTGFOP China Clonal - First Flush

Made from leaves harvested in early spring 2012, the dry leaf of this first-flush Castleton has a slightly greenish hue and brews a lighter cup with depth of character and a classic muscatel sweetness.  The golden liquor has a delicate, approachable flavor that is balanced with a touch of high and bright astringency, producing a soft well-rounded mouthfeel.  Use 3 grams of dry leaves (approximately 1 rounded teaspoon) per 6 ounces of water heated to 200°F, steeping for three to four minutes.
