Hanuman of Prayer

This Indian Hanuman is made of aluminum with a resin core and copper patina with cinnabar highlights.  He kneels on one knee on a lotus petal throne called a Viswapadmasana with both hands raised in the Namaskar Mudra, or gesture of prayer. His enormous tail is raised in a loop and his head is crowned with a ritual Mukha.  A chakra-shaped aura emanates from his divine simian head (7-1/2" high).
