China Green Teas
China is the birthplace of tea. It was here that tea was accidentally discovered
by Emperor Shen Nung over 5,000 years ago. Ever since its discovery by China, tea was used only as a green tea for
centuries. Hence China produces the world's finest green teas.
Our Chinese green teas are harvested early in the spring when the taste characteristics are most pronounced and unusual. The freshly-picked leaves are not allowed to oxidize and thus retain their right color and fresh taste. Brew green teas in water temperatures ranging from 158° to 185°F.
