From the Balangoda planting district, this Ceylon Black vintage 2020 has plentiful silver tips. Situated near the Sinharaja Forest Reserve, the tea gardens are protected from the strong winds of southwest monsoons. This tea makes a delectable cup, with a delicious beginning and a satisfying finish. There is a sweet caramel note beautifully balanced with fine aroma. Use 1 generous tsp. dried leaf (3-4g) per 6-ounce cup of spring water heated to just below boiling (212°). Pour hot water over leaves and steep 4 minutes.
