This vintage 2015 organic tea from Anhui province features dark wiry short-cut leaves with a scattering of golden tips. It brews a deep amber liquor with a fragrant, fruity aroma, classic, rich Keemun taste, and refreshing finish. Use 1 generous teaspoon of dry leaf per 6 oz. cup. Pour boiling spring water over leaves and steep 4 minutes.

A very deep, resonant, almost smoky tea. I have tasted excellent Keemun *Hao Ya* tea before (which had a delightful sweetness to it), and I had hoped that this organic Keemun Mao Feng would be similar, but it is lacking the sweetness that I was looking for. As I said, very deep and "bass" (with an aroma that has the characteristic hints of cocoa and rose that are expected of a fine Keemun)...but just didn't have the sweetness that makes me really go crazy for a tea.
