Square Black Jade Pedestal Bowl

Made of "Black Jade" from the famous Jade deposit in North East China, this type of stone is called "Black Jade" by the locals. The semi-glossed appearance is actually magnesium based embedded with carbon. Unlike translucent jade, it is mostly opaque with occasional white translucent veins. It has a rich patina in a warm and dark grayish tone. Can be used for serving or centerpiece for tables. 11" length by 11" width by 5" height.
