Peach Pit Teapot

Peach Pit Teapot.
In China the peach is a symbol of immortality. It is an emblem of Chung-li Ch'uan, the Chief Immortal, who uses it to revive dead souls. The peach is also carried by Jurojin, the Japanese God of Longevity. This lovely teapot is inspired by a Qing Dynasty design and executed in stunning natural blue zisha with applied sprays of peach blossoms. The handle is a branch and the lid is crowned with a peach pit. (Price includes free shipping and handling within the continental United States.)
