Sake Sets

Sake (rice wine) is a derivative of rice, which is itself considered a sacred gift handed down from the gods in the mythological past. As an offering, nothing could be more appropriate, for it is said that when men and the gods drink together they form a spiritual bond. Rice wine is donated by sake manufacturers throughout Japan to be used in sacred rituals and will also be offered to shrine visitors during the first few days of the new year.
