Display Teas

Display teas are the perfect post-meal drink, made to be enjoyed for the show presented while steeping as well as the taste. Young tea leaves are tightly bunched and handcrafted to create particular shapes by tying the fine tea leaves around a flower into different marvelous configurations. When infused the leaves unfurl to reveal a different fantastic appearance. Serve these teas in wineglasses (8- to 12-ounce is best) and watch the lovely show! They won't become bitter even when oversteeped, an important consideration since the leaves are left in a glass while you drink the tea. Please allow sufficient steeping time as the teas are generally mild and will take a few minutes to yield their flavor to the glass. The tea is made of the highest grade special green tea of fresh spring crops and natural herbal flowers.  The ability to handle multiple steepings is another pleasant characteristic of this group of rare teas.
