This is a great tasting single plucking green tea vintage spring 2018 in a very fine maojian style from the well-known Mengding tea region. It has a fresh, verdant aroma in the dry leaf, and yields a pale golden liquor with flavor that melts onto the tongue. Mengding has an annual tea festival, and there are even small cable cars/gondolas that take visitors riding low over the tea bushes. Sichuan is also the site of the Bamboo Sea (a forest) and those gondolas are much higher, however for a single rider only. Use 1 rounded teaspoon (3g) dried tea leaves per 6 ounces of spring water heated to 175° to 185° F. and steep for 3-4 minutes. This tea can handle multiple infusions; add fresh hot water to the pot and increase the steeping time for subsequent infusions, repeating until the flavor begins to fade.
