This is a competition grade Bai Mu Dan, vintage spring 2016, a rare tea that is produced in very limited quantities.  It is grown on Tai Mu San where the best white teas originate.  The pale golden liquor has a wonderful clean taste and sweetness with a nuanced finish. Use 1 rounded teaspoon (3g) dried tea leaves per 6 ounces of spring water heated to 160° to 170° F. and steep for 3 minutes. This tea can handle multiple infusions; increase the steeping time for subsequent infusions, repeating until the flavor begins to fade.
