This vintage 2018 organic black tea brews a rich apricot-colored liquor with full, pleasant mouthfeel and a smooth finish. It should be brewed at a somewhat lower temperature than for standard Blacks, using 1 rounded teaspoon (3g) dried leaves per 6 ounces of spring water heated to about 205° and steeped two minutes to bring out the natural sweet character of the tea.
For optimum enjoyment for all the senses, imagine having a small dish of the dry tea by one’s cup, so that as the tea passes over one’s palate, the eyes can still take in the original visual appeal of the well crafted leaves.
