This organic 1st flush Darjeeling is from the Phuguri Tea Estate located near the Kanchenjunga mountain range. The large, silver-tipped leaves brew a light amber liquor that is very aromatic, sweet, flowery and slightly spicy. Use 3 grams dry weight of tea leaves (approx. 1 scant teaspoon) per 6 ounces of water heated to 195°F, steeping for 2-3 minutes. This tea can handle multiple infusions.
