Yunnan Pu-erh Beencha

A compressed tea cake made from Yunnan pu-erh by high-temperature steaming.  The tea is aged for a year to give a full liquor, fragrance, and smooth aftertaste.  A great choice for aging further or for drinking immediately.  The Chinese believe this tea aids digestion and it has been clinically proven to lower cholesterol.

Directions:  Break off a half-inch piece (about 2 to 3g).  Pour boiling water over each piece; cover and steep for five minutes.
