This is a high elevation grown black tea from Feng Qing county in western Yunnan province. The dry leaves show considerable gold and brew a brassy red liquor with smooth Dian Hong flavor and vivid sweetness. Try using 3 grams of dry leaves (approximately 1 rounded teaspoon) per 6 ounces of spring water heated to 190-200°F (near boiling) in a porcelain gaiwan or Yixing teapot, steeping 3 minutes. This tea can handle multiple infusions.
