This vintage spring 2021 tea is made from the Mei Zhan varietal which grows at an elevation of about 800 to 900 meters. Fragrant in the dry leaf, the brewed cup is naturally sweet, presenting some light grassy notes along with just a hint of astringency. Use 1 scant teaspoon (3g) of dry leaf per 6 oz. cup. Pour fresh spring water heated to a temperature of 80° to 90° C. (180° to 195° F.) over leaves and steep 3 minutes.
