This tea is delectably complex yet easy-to-like and well worth the price. The leaves are downy and fluffy with an incredible fragrance, something like a divine summer field. Brewed it has a sweet, smooth start, followed by a slightly nutty character, with a warm, open, buttery finish where the light astringency hits and continues to play against the butteriness. Refreshing and satisfying at once. The first infusion captures the taste of that summery fragrance best while the second takes on some very slight vegetal tones. Both are excellent, with the third showing a hint of decline yet still coming in well above acceptable.
