Bouquets to Art 2013
Now in its 29th year, the much-anticipated Bouquets to Art event has drawn over 640,000 visitors, whose support makes it the largest fundraiser held to benefit the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco. Organized and produced by the volunteer members of the San Francisco Auxiliary of the Fine Arts Museums, Bouquets to Art has raised over $5 million in support of conservation projects, education programs and special exhibitions at the de Young and Legion of Honor museums. It pairs 125 top Bay Area floral designers with works of art at San Francisco’s de Young Museum as inspiration for an irresistible feast for the senses.
The following are but a small portion of the floral arrangements created by California artists and presented at the museum from March 19 through 23, 2013.
