A fulfilling sip of piping hot tea on a brisk autumn or winter day is especially gratifying. Warm pots of loose-leaf tea are close at hand during this time of year— it’s as much a part of the season as long walks spent crunching through a brittle carpet of leaves or the crust of newly-fallen snow. However much we might love sweet iced tea, now is the occasion for a cup of hot tea, even diluted with a splash of milk or a squeeze of lemon (oh blasphemy!). In the spirit of the season, we’ve highlighted some of our wide selection of favorite celebratory teas for you. They can be enjoyed all year round, but the inclusion of aromatic spices like cloves and cinnamon make them especially appropriate at this time of year.
