This attractive organic tea vintage May 2021 is grown on the hills surrounding Lake Poyang in Jiangxi province, the largest freshwater lake in China, fed by the Gan River.  The river and lake add considerable moisture to the atmosphere which slows down the growing process and as a result, produces tea that is more intense in flavor.  The abundant silver strands among twisted leaves remain attractive unopened buds when brewed, giving this tea a more expensive look.  The liquor has supple, rich flavor, and is easy on the palate.  Its price makes it a very accessible, premium green tea.  Use 3 grams (1 rounded teaspoon) tea leaves per 6-ounce cup of spring water at a temperature of 80° to 90° C.
